In 2006, the Backyard team is concentrating on Orlando Speedworld, but also has made many appearances at New Smyrna Speedway on Saturday nights.

When all was said and done in 2006, Michael was a contender for the Speedworld mini stock championship, all the way until the last rece.  He ended up in second place after a long and competitive season.

Here is a look at what was to come in 2007!  The Seay's bought a basket case late model to run at New Smyrna Speedway.  This car is the first one that Michael had a chance to drive.  He warmed it up one night in July at NSS and really enjoyed it.
